What is Theta Healing?

Theta Healing is an intentional based guided meditation that is used to change and restructure the subconscious belief programs that are running in our lives.  Most people who use Theta Healing report a significant decrease in the intensity of painful memories, a marked reduction in a difficult relationships or circumstances, and a noticeable increase of personal empowerment and freedom.

How can this help me?

Theta Healing can help anyone who is trying to generate more empowerment and personal freedom in their lives.  All of us walk around carrying the subconscious beliefs of our childhood, family, and culture that limit how we relate to ourselves and those around us.  An unconscious belief of, “I am unworthy of love,” will cause us to sabotage romantic relationships, while the belief, “It is dangerous for me to stand out,” will cause us to play small and avoid promotion, while the belief, “my body is always getting sick,” will indeed weaken our immune systems and generate disease!  We all carry limiting beliefs that rob us of our true potential and interrupt our lives. Through Theta Healing, we can neutralize those beliefs and install new, more enlightened belief patterns that can help us move through the world with more personal freedom and power.

How does Theta Healing work?

Theta Healing works on the principle that biology follows beliefs.  This is to say—it is our beliefs that most greatly influence our reality—rather than the external circumstances or situations of our lives.  Theta Healing works by entering a theta brainwave state where these beliefs are most easily accessed and then shifted to create more personal freedom and empowerment.  Most humans brains operate at a beta brainwave frequency, typically between 14 and 40 cycles per second during normal waking consciousness.  Theta Healing guides the mind into a theta brainwave state, at 4 -7.5 cycles per second—considerably slower and more powerful than our waking consciousness.  Theta brainwave states naturally occur during REM dream sleep, a time during which the mind often experiences vivid visualizations, inspiration and problem solving capabilities.  During a Theta Healing session, we are guided into this state where our mind is most powerful and is most open to healing and changes in programming.

What can I expect to experience in a session?

Theta Healing is generally performed over the phone with the eyes closed.  A theta healer will ask you what memory, belief, or situation you would like to address in the session and then carefully guide you through a process of discovering the core belief that is generating your current issue.  Once a clear core belief issue has been identified, the healer will guide you through a visualization process where your brain will enter a theta brainwave pattern.  In this theta state the practitioner will be able to help you neutralize any painful memory, change a belief and give you a new pattern for how to be in the world.

How long do sessions last and how many sessions will I need?

Sessions generally last between 45 and 60 minutes but can be made longer or shorter based on a person's particular needs.  Theta has the unique ability to get to the core issue of any life situation very quickly and clients typically find that between one and three sessions are adequate to heal any specific issue.  The more isolated a situation or trauma, the more quickly it can be treated.  The more enmeshed the situation or trauma, the longer it can take to change the belief.

How does Theta Healing address painful memories?

All of us carry trauma in our bodies and minds, whether it was a car accident, a broken heart, a lost loved one, or simply the trauma of being born!  Theta can help us enter into a state where we can take the emotional charge out of any memory and shift the beliefs surrounding that experience so that we can enjoy more awareness and personal freedom in our lives.

What are the limitation to Theta Healing?

Theta healing works on the principles of personal awareness and sovereignty.  This means that if you are in denial of an event or circumstance in your life, Theta Healing will be unable to address the beliefs that stem from this event and proper healing cannot take place.  Similarly, if you are unwilling to let go of a belief because you are overidentified with your suffering or simply refuse to change, theta cannot help you.  We must be able to acknowledge who we are and what we have been through before we can release the past and become a new person in the present moment.

Theta healing also requires that we acknowledge the sentient intelligence of our universe.  For healings to take place, we must understand that we are a piece of a conscious universe experiencing itself.  It is only by understanding that we are the creation and the creator at the same time that we can generate a new life.

Do I have to believe in a certain god or religion for theta to work on me?

Theta works on all people of all religions and spiritual orientations.  From Mormons to animists, Zoroastrians to Sufis, Theta Healing can work for anyone as long as there is the belief in an intelligent creative force in our universe.  In other words, it can work for anyone but atheists.  Sorry atheists :/

What if I don't need healing?

All of us need healing.  There is no shame in this as it is part of the human experience.  We all carry the beliefs of our Confederate great grandparents, the physical trauma of our parents, and the suffering from being disconnected from nature in our DNA.  There is no escaping it.  But apart from healing these subconscious beliefs that are passed through our genes, theta healing can help us optimize  our potential by neutralizing the negative belief patterns that keep us from thriving.

Can Theta Heal the Body?

Potentially, yes.  Theta Healing was originally developed by a woman named Vianna Stibal who was able to heal her bone marrow cancer through using techniques that would later develop into Theta Healing. Since Theta Healing is concerned with how consciousness manifests into reality, it is important to understand how any illness, weather psychological or biological benefits some part of our consciousness or self story. Once the benefit of an dis-ease is understood, the supporting belief can be released and the body can heal itself.

Theta healing is also founded on the scientific truth that all matter is mostly empty space.  From rocks, to water, to the human body, all matter is comprised of tiny elemental particles bonding over relatively vast amounts of empty space.  No two atoms in any piece of matter are actually touching; this means that the physical world in which we know it more closely resembles a hologram than anything else.  Theta healing understand this truth and utilizes it to support the claim that through focused consciousness anything is possible.

It was good that you mentioned that we all carry trauma in our bodies and minds and theta healing can help us take charge of the trauma. I've been in a little bit of a depressive state as of late and I've been stewing about some things from my childhood. Maybe I should visit a theta healing practice and see about taking my life back.
